I have two pictures to share today. They are of my mom and my nephew's fiancee, Amanda. They were shot this past weekend on a beautiful fall day in Collingswood NJ. The bench they are sitting on was dedicated to my nephew Marc. Before he left for Afghanistan, when he would be home on leave, they would spend time sitting on this bench making plans for their future together. She has a poster size picture of her and Marc, very similar to the one I took of Mom and her from behind, hanging in her dining room that Marc took with the timer and putting the camera in a tree behind them. Recently the town installed this new bench with a plaque that reads"

"In enduring memory of
Marc J Small
Time brings all things to pass
In due time Sweetheart, I will be with you!"

The sayings under his name were taken from notes he had left for her to open and read on days he knew he would not be able to talk to her.

I apologize for the length of the post but wanted to share the story behind the pics.
