The 50mm has become my favorite lens, in fact it rarely leaves the camera. The versatility of it just awesome, I am so glad I pick it up. The last 4 or 5 shots that I have posted here are from the 50mm

OK, I am no where near as good as you guys but here is mine for today. I was trying to practice using manual focus so I can learn how to use my camera better. I know it is a little blurred, But I'm still learning how to use the camera!

I have to thank you guys for singing the praises of the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. LOVE it to death - and $110!! Unheard of! This is the 3rd pic I took with it about 10 minutes after the mailman dropped it off. DF cutting his friends hair in our yard!
