This weekend in homecoming for our local high school. It is the first one for our youngest - Emily. Tonight is the game - tomorrow is the dance.

Here is a photo I took of Em this morning. She was NOT in a very cooperative mood. It is not easy to get a grumpy, moody 14 yr old to smile at 6:30 in the morning. :sad2:

I took the photo in front of our front door - but cut all of that out and played with it in photoshop a bit. Not a great job - I realize that - but she will like it printed out so she can stuff it in her clear folder.

Hopefully I can get some better shots of her and her friends tomorrow in their formal clothes for the dance. Maybe if the Gods smile on me I will even get her to smile.

Our Homecoming was last weekend. My friend asked me to come over and take some photos of her daughter (my kids are only 10 & 12, so we aren't at that stage yet). We didn't go to the game either, so this is all I have. I haven't done much in the way of posing or portraits (other than team pictures), so I know some of my poses are awkward. It was a good learning experience though.

Also, I didn't do any cropping. They wanted to just pick the prints up from Walmart, so I left them all in 4x6 format.
