The caretaker from the Haunted Mansion from back in 2009. It was a really tough shot to get with the camera technology available in those days. That scene was so dark that I didn't realize he had a dog with him until after I took the picture.

That picture reminds me of when I was a kid. My sister and I were on the skyway in Disneyland and were coming out of the Matterhorn just as the fireworks were going off. That was almost 50 years ago, but it still sticks with me. At the time it felt like we were somehow not part of the normal world, observing it from a magical place of our own. When I see Aladdin and Jasmine on their magic carpet ride, it brings back the same feeling. It's one of my favorite memories of my sister.

Another extinct attraction. Trying to sell people on an attraction featuring Ellen and sponsored by a big oil company was too tough, even for Disney.
