Thanks. Yup, this is an HDR process picture. I took three exposure bracketed images then processed them in Photomatix using the "tonemapping" option. I'm still learning how best to use HDR but I love how these pictures come out. When I compare the original (properly exposed image out of the bracket group of three), it looks so blah and typical. Then the HDR one just "pops".
Well worth a try if you really want to create some neat looking stuff.
This isn't my best image by far (he decided to propose right at noon and the light was pretty harsh)...but I love her expression. He hired me to shoot the proposal, and I was trying to stay unobtrusive. Thankfully, I had invested in a 70 - 200 a few weeks ago and that was a huge help.
He had made a photobook he had her look through of their memories, and the last page was a photo of him buying the ring & asking her parents - how adorable is that?
