Nice shots Susan, I've pass by here so many times and have friends who live close enough to see the MT from there yard but never climb it.
Didn't see anything on News 9 last night so they were probably just practicing.
Nice shots of Tiffany and Tom!
We've seen low flying fighter jets occasionally while skiing and hiking over the White Mts. Once while skiing at Waterville a jet buzzed right over the lift! Scared the crap out of us. And while hiking we saw jets buzzing low between the mountains. DH saw them over the Kinsmans before.
On the ride up there was an accident on rt16. Tractor trailer rolled over. Cab was crushed- load of plywood scattered. On the way home and nasty accident on rt25 closed the road for quite a while. We sat in it That one made the news.
Btw...The last 1/4 mile to the summit is quite hairy if you ever attempt it.
Thank you. Yes your camera can do this, I also have a Canon 40d and that is what I used to get these shots, I also used Canon 17-40mm lens and a ND filter (neutral density) and a polarizing filter stacked on top, also a tripod with a remote shutter release and mirror lock up.
