Wow, this thread is really inspiring. There are some truly amazing photos on here. I've spent the past few hours going through every page.

I've been thinking about a photography course at the local community college. I really want to know how to make pictures like these happen, so I'm definitely going to follow up with that.

LOL, I'm almost embarassed to post some samples from my albums. All were taken with a Rebel XT.

Another inspired to post my cat photo; this is Moxie who is almost 19 years old and loves to rest her front paws in DH's shoes. This is right before we got her "shaved" down to her skin which we do a few times a year since her fur gets so scruffy being a Maine Coon cat. She has a bad heart condition and the vets thought she wouldn't last. She has slowed down but has a great appetite!

Thanks. I was lying flat on my back shooting almost straight up. Same with the Spaceship Earth picture.

Thanks for your concern about me, I have been sick I contracted Lyme disease and it really set me back, after almost a month I'm finally starting to feel better, I'm still on antibiotics and have a couple more weeks of treatment left. I haven't been out at all this month but hope to get out soon and get some shots.
