I'm really impressed with the 85. It's really sharp even wide open. I've been using the Fuji and Sony morrorless cameras for a while and was really amazed by the focus speed of this 85 with the USM motor.

at 18mm, f8, ISO100 and 21 seconds exposure with a ND8 filter attached to the lens. I just converted it from raw to jpg with Adobe Camera Raw, no color correction or whatsoever done.
Oh, and on a side note, this was done with a 10 year old DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel / 300D) and an equally old kit lens.

Shot at 1/180 sec, f1.4 and ISO 800. I like how sharp my little angel is even at 1.4. For a kid who never really sits still, this lens is a winner!
