How would I do this? I have Paint Shop Pro and Corel.

I want to make the photo black and white while keeping their shoes red and the blue of their dresses blue....

The only directions that I can get is that you need to outline what you want to stay colored and find that same color in the color pallete that they provide and fill it in. There has to be an easier way.... I've seen it done so many times where they add a touch of pink to a girls cheeks in a b&w picture or they enhance the eyes to be a bright blue or green on b&w pictrues. Is there a better way? Thanks!

I use PSPX.

Open you picture, duplicate it.

On the top layer, make it B&W. (Effects > Photo Effects > B&W)

Get your eraser out and erase all the areas you want color on.

I do the same. Make sure you don't try to do the eraser in all one swipe. Make lots of little ones. That way if you mess up, you can hit Ctrl+Z and undo without having to redo everything.
