I've also wondered - I'm a little picky about the photo quality when I order prints and would rather pay 9p a print for good quality than get iffy ones for 5p each. It's counter productive for me to do that anyway because, as with the last batch I ordered, I ended up re-ordering them again anyway (even though Jessops claimed that the fault was with my images, I transferred the same ones to Photobox and the difference of the prints side by side is phenomenal). Cheap is only a good deal if the quality measures up adequately against the competition.
