Photo Pass?

Hi Everyone-
Can someone explain the photo pass to me? Is it a set price? Is it park specific (do you get one at each park and pay each time?) I have seen posts in the past, and of course now that we are leaving in two days, I can't find them-Thanks in advance-Rebecca and Co.

Photopass - 1 card can be used everywhere. The cd is $99 and each picture individually is $12.95 and they are 5x7 if that helps you any. You can either buy at the parks or you can buy at home. I purchased individual pics at home as i only took 100 pics but over 700 on my own camera so I really didn't need that many more photos. On my trip you had to seek the photopass photographers out as they weren't always in the most visible or picturesque place (but those are places my bf and i liked not necessarily the most notable disney places.) so just be aware of that. it was really nice though to take the pics and have some pics of the two of us together.

We purchased 2 photos from home. It was really nice because you can add borders and stuff as well. They came VERY quickly as well! We think Photopass is great!

Photopass - The cards themselves are free. You carry it or them with you from park to park. When a WDW Photopass photographer takes your picture, he / she will give you a photopass. For each additional time, you give the photographer your photopass, they will scan your card and the pictures keep adding up on the one card. If you happen to forget your card, they will give you a new one. You can have one, two, five, ten......whatever. There are certain places all around WDW you can take your card and view and order your pics. You can also wait till you get home and go the the website - www.disneyphotopass.com. This is what it states on the homepage:

Here you can see and share your vacation photos. It’s easy, fun, and there is no charge to get a Disney’s PhotoPass card or set up your account.

To get started, have your photo taken by one of our Disney's PhotoPass photographers in any of the four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. They’ll give you your own Disney’s PhotoPass card which you can use over and over again throughout your vacation.

When you get home, just enter the number from the back of your card here at www.DisneyPhotoPass.com and all your photos will be displayed for you to enjoy. Be sure to log on soon because your photos are only available for 30 days.

Again, you can also view and order pics at certain places in WDW. Keep in mind though, they are a little expensive.

If you buy the $99 cd, can you have the pics reprinted at say Walgreens or Target, or does the disc only operate with the photopass online program?-thanks again everyone for all your input!-Rebecca

Do you have to buy the CD while at WDW or can you order the CD afterwards? $99 seems a bit steep but seems the better deal since you are then the copyright holder and can keep the photos.
