Photo Pass

I believe that you can ORDER and have the borders downloaded to the CD prior to you purchasing the CD. While the CM is making the CD, you can pick out different borders and have them all included. The CD comes with a RELEASE from Disney so you can order everything from the likes of CVS to WAL-MART.

Remember ONLINE, they are very $$$ = $12.75 for each and they are all 5x7!

Since May they stopped doing that. You can no longer get the enhancements put on the CD.

Sorry if this has been covered before?
If you purchase the CD will you still have online access to get some pictures with borders/enhancements if you wish?

I'm not 100% sure if you still have access to the photos after you've purchased the CD. :confused3 Hopefully someone can answer that for you.

You could, however, buy a couple of photos first with the enhancements you want, and then purchase the CD afterward. That I'm sure of.

Remember, you can buy the CD on your last day or when you get home online.

Hope this helps.

I know our pictures were not available after 30 days :( I forgot to order them and they were deleted when I finally got around to it at about 40 days after the trip. Sadly they were the ONLY pictures taken of all four of us together that trip and now we have none. Oh well.

Thank you so much, Beattyfamily for the quick response!!! This is what I had wanted to do but was not sure it was allowed. Two cards would be great in case they want to go a different way in the parks. Again Thanks so much!!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

The amount of cards you can have is virtually unlimited (only by the supposed 300-pic limit, so technically you could have 300 different cards). There is also "is this all your family?" question, so you can combine from whomever you wish for the CD.

When it's time to turn them all in at the end of the trip, if you've end up with more than 300 pics (they generally take several each time, so it's very possible especially with a large group), one of two things can happen. First, I've heard of some people getting more than 300 - if they let you, go for it. If you have to have only 300, then you can pick and choose - you don't need to put all seven shots of you and Ariel on the CD if three of them will suffice, LOL.

Also, something I do not think has been mentioned yet in this thread : THEY NOW INCLUDE SOME RIDE PHOTOS. They have begun adding the service to every photo-ride (starting with Test Track), so now you can get those really expensive ride-photos on your CD. That's what convinced us to get it for our next trip - we usually buy 2-3 anyway, so it's a no brainer because we'd love 10 if they weren't so expensive. Rather pay a couple of bucks to have it done at home instead. They supposedly are adding rides ASAP, with the goal to have all rides photo-pass enabled by next fall. I know they either just, or are just about, to launch at a 2nd location after TT, but I can't remember which ride it was (Buzz?).

Actually, if you wait to buy the CD on line the limit is 14 cards the website will accept. I do not know about how many cards you can put onto one CD in person though.

You cannot have borders/enhancements done to the CD photos though.

When did this start? We were there in January of this year, and have more than 20 of our pictures with borders around them and enhancements? I also have all those same pictures without the borders. I had heard that you can't have your picture holding Tink anymore. Did they get rid of ALL the enhancements?! I hope not.

They stopped adding enhancements to the CD in May as it just took too long to do for each guest.

You can still get enhancements to individual photos that you buy though.

I can understand why they would do that (stop adding enhancements) back in Feb. when we did this, it took us well over an hour to go through all of our pictures, and decide which borders/captions we wanted. IN the end, it's still a great deal, and you don't have to lug a camera around with you the entire time. The picture in my signature is a cropped picture of something that was taken in Epcot, where we ran into Mickey and friends (I think about 8 of them), and were able to get family pictures with each character, and then also take just the kids picture with the characters...

Without a doubt, at $99, the best money you will ever spend at Disney (IMHO).

When we came back from our trip I was broke, (I wnder why! :rotfl: )
I realized a few days before my photopass expired that I wasn't going to have the money to order all the pics I wanted. So I emailed them and asked if they would extend the time I had to order, because I really did want to order some pics. They gave me an extra month.

But I am definitely going to order the CD this time. It's worth it. I spent over $100 on pics and there were many more I would have liked to have had.

I Think The Photo Pass Is A Great Idea... But One Problem... I Was In The World For 4 Days And Only Saw Two Photographers The Whole Time... Very Good Concept It The Photographers Are Out And About To Take A Bunch Of Pictures Of Your Group....

WOW, that is really sad because DH & I were there in FEB and DS and his DGF were there in March and we all saw them everywhere and there would be 3 at a time at the same spot....wow...too bad!!! :confused3

We just got back from disney!!
I've looked at the the disney photopass website.

Where is the option to purchase the pictures on CD?
I don't see that option, and we are thinking about getting the CD
because there are just too many good ones to get at that price $$

Thanks for the help

YOUR BACK....OHHHHH, too bad...you had to do it in DISNEY..not on the internet. The internet will only allow you the photos they show you there. The CD can only be purchased from Mickey's Toon Town, the GF or in Epcot next to Space Ship Earth!!!

I think you are out of luck!!! SORRRRRY! :guilty:

Thanks for posting that. I hadn't done it online. I do know that people have brought an upwards of 30+ different cards (that's just my experience - has anyone seen more), and didn't see the CM counting them or anything.

There are two types of enhancements :

1) The borders, characters, autographs, etc., that you added after the fact, and

2) the in-camera placeholder effects (Tink or Simba in your hand, etc.) that the CM can pose you with.

#1 is what they got rid of, #2 remains.

It's easy to see why. People were spending a great deal of time on the additions and such, and in order to amp up the program the way they are planning to they would have had to have many dozens of machines to keep up with the demand. They plan on selling a lot of these things, LOL.

This is incorrect. Yes, you can buy it at the website. As someone noted above, though, it seems you are limited to 14 cards.

I don't have the link handy - hasn't someone posted it above already? If not, I'm sure someone who has it bookmarked will share.

14 cards... :confused3 you mean 14 pictures :confused3 because that cetainly sounds $$$$ for the CD if only 14 pictures!!!

OK, you can get them from the website, its just not obvious.

Click on help at the bottom of the page.
Then an idex of everything pops up.
In the products, prices and Shipping section.

There is a link for -> Disney's PhotoPass CD .
This brings you to another site to purchase the photos on cd.
Here's what pops up next:

Disney's PhotoPass CD

Get all of your photos on a CD! This product is not currently available on DisneyPhotoPass.com; however if you are interested in ordering, please visit this website for more information or to place an order online: http://www.register123.com/event/177271.

Please note that the CD will only contain the original images taken by our photographers; no modifications or edits made online at DisneyPhotoPass.com will appear on the CD. Also, your complete 16-digit PhotoPass ID number(s) are required in order to fulfill your request.

HTH others

I agree that it seemed like the photographers were not as abundant a couple weeks ago as they were in March. We were on a mission to get as many pics as we could in 8 days but only ended up with 45. We did not buy the CD.

Another tip - when you get your photopass, take a picture of the back of it - it will have your number on it in case you lose it (or misplace it like I did at home) you have the number.
