Photo Pass Tip

:scared1: I definately want a ToT pic when we go for our Disneymoon in Oct. I hope they add that ride next!!!

great idea adding ride photos, I bet the sale of CDs will go up !! We will definately buy one now.

Please explain how you get the CD, do you leave it till the last day and then go somewhere with your card?
Can you see the pictures first? how long does this take? We fly out on Sat 28th at 3pm, was planning on going to MK that day. But we would have to leave by 11am, will this give us enough time ( I would CRY if we couldnt get the cd) or should we do it on the Fri night???

Where do we go and is any one place better than another?

Thanks

Yes, that is something new and still in the testing stages. But from the sounds of it, all ride photos will be available on Photopass sometime in the future. :thumbsup2

This will be great and much better for traveling, rather than having many photo's packed. On our last trip we used photo pass and had 105 pictures on our card, I hope Disney continues with this idea throughout all the parks.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully you will be able to add more ride photos before our December trip.

I wonder this also. Can anyone tell me how much the CDs cost or does it depend on how many photos are on it?

On Wednesday morning 9/20, there was a CM at the photos. If you had your Photopass card with you, you just slide it into a slot under the picture (it's sort of like the FP slot. But you might want to have your Photopass card accessible because you only have a certain number of seconds to do this. The CM was teasing me because I was getting all flustered trying to find my Photopass card and slide it in time (I made it with a whole 3 seconds to spare). If you don't have a card, or like I almost did, miss the time limit, the CM will go to her computer at the counter, call up the picture, and give you a photopass card if you don't have one.

I'm a little confused about this. :confused3

I can see this working well with buzz since there's only one party in a car. How will this work with say TOT, or Splash? If you only have a few seconds to insert your card, how will they ensure that there's enough time for all parties to load the photo to their photopass card?

I assume there's a way for them to reset the screens. If there isn’t, I can just imagine people pushing to get OFF of the rides. :rotfl2:

I hope everything is in place soon.

I just got one last week. They cost $99.95 regardless of how many photos are on it. I want to say it holds up to 300. Ours had 144 photos on there (3 from Test Track). It was the best deal all week. For less than $1 each, I now own 144 professionally taken pictures. So far I've only spent an additional $13 developing all my favorites. Here's the Test Track one!

We had ours done too, I wish other rides would add it too :)

Thanks for the great tip  We will be taking advantage of it at the end of OCT. :dance3:
