Not sure what the cost is of PP+ but I found it was less expensive to do MaxPass.
With MaxPass all ride and photographer pics are included.
For a week's worth of photos would cost $10/day. If they have 5days tickets, it's $50. Plus the full features of MP.

thanks, but its $10 per person per day. that's $150 V $78 for the pass+ week, I bought it as a gift for my friends so just need to know how they will access the photos.. as for me,, I can use the military discount , but wasn't sure if I could for them as they are going at a different time.. so I got the PP+

You can buy MP for the PP+ benefit for just one person and have it available to be used by everyone. You don't have to buy it for everyone unless it's intended for the MP benefit. So it would have only been $50/five days instead of $78. Even the ticket with MP tied to it can still pull regular FPs from the kiosks.

I don't think many actually buy PP+ separately anymore because it's more expensive than using the single MP purchase trick. However, if they have any days where they're not going into the parks but might be doing character dining, the PP+ would allow them to still get the digital picture (see catch below).

Anywho, I have never dealt with this at DLR. My pass includes PP+ and I only get pictures for friends when I'm at the parks with them. But I handle this by having them give me ride codes and getting Photopass cards if I'm not there to scan my pass. I'd imagine it's connected only to your account unless you were sent a code?

If it were me, I'd call and see if there was any way to get it transferred.

Otherwise you could just have them collect ride codes and a Photopass card. Then they could send all of this to you to redeem. The catch is with dining photos, though. They'd gotten more strict the last time I did character dining and required me to show on my app I had PP+ included in my pass before they would release the digital photo code to me. Previously I just stated I was a Sig+ passholder.

Thanks for your time ! I will call them tomorrow to find out how to proceed . Usually I’m the one getting the pass and we are all there , but this time I’m gifting them and didn’t think about it until tonight !

I called this morning , and they were really helpful . Said the Disneyland pass cant be transferred /shared between people like you can in The World.. she said that I could give them access to my email account and let her use that during the time there:headache: .. something that I was not comfortable with.. She was very nice and she refunded me the money . I will now give them cash to purchase the pass using her own app..

So that's one thing I learned today. don't purchase the pass for someone else unless you will be with them at the time of use..!! cash is best in this case !:jester:

Thanks to those who responded ..
