We just got home from our vacation. I preordered the CD so now I am going in and editing my photos. Every time I edit one do I hit the button that says save copy? Which ones will show up on my CD? All of them or only ones I edit/choose? Where do I go to put the CD in my "cart"? I just want to make sure I am doing it correctly.

Yes...after you do each edit, hit save as copy. Be sure to save your favorite photos in multiple sizes because if you try to print an 8x10 off of the default 4x6 your borders will get cut off. When you are completely through with your editing, just go to the product ordering page and click add to cart for the cd. It will put the cd into your cart and your preorder credit will be deducted. All you have to pay is shipping. You will get all original photos plus all of your edits no matter how many CDs it ends up being. I have turned 200 photos into over 1000 and usually end up with 2 discs each trip. Good luck with your edits!:thumbsup2

Thanks so much! I have edited all my photos and added borders...but how do you make sure you save them in different sizes so when you print larger sizes the borders won't be cut off?

Somewhere near the top right of the page (I think) should be a drop down box with the different sizes. just click the size you want and add the border and save as usual. I wish I had some photos in my account to walk you through it step by step, but I don't have any in there right now. Sorry. Good luck!

OK...I understand what you are saying about saving the photos in different sizes before ordering the CD. But when I get the CD, how will I know what size a photo is when I go to print it? Is it that when I go to print a photo at let's say 5 x 7, if it's the correct size photo, the border will show up? Also, can you make a copy of the CD?
Can ya tell I have never ordered the CD before?

When you get your CD, if you look at the view showing details, you will see something like this:

Photo0817FourBySix 5/17/2011 11:25 A.M.
Photo0818EightByTen 5/17/2011 11:25 A.M.
Photo0819FiveBySeven 5/17/2011 11:25 A.M.

So yes you will be able to tell which photo was saved under which resolution.

HTH.

Yes, you can make a copy of the CD. If you are giving it to someone to make their own copies just make sure you copy the Copyright Release as well as the photos. You can copy the entire CD or just certain photos.

I've already posted a question, but no response as of yet.

We just returned from our second holiday at WDW. Last year we pre ordered the photopass CD, which I already have. Yesterday, I wanted to enter my photopass card numbers, but all my photos from last year are in my account. I just started getting emails saying that my photos will expire on 08.03.11 (I purchased my preordered CD on 07.03.11).

Now, I thought all the photos from last year would be long expired.

Does this always happen that last years photopass photos are in the account? I haven't load the new photos as I don't want to lose them.

Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Thanks Karen

This has happened to me a few times. Earlier this year all my Fall PP pix from last year suddenly reappeared in my account. It was 4-5 months after that fact. :confused3 Since I had already ordered those on a CD I really didn't want them again. I started to delete them and realized it would take me forever (over 1500-I did a share). I sent DisneyPP an email asking them to remove all pictures taken before a certain date. They did and I continued with my new order.

I would send them an email asking them to remove the older ones if you want. Personally, for me, all the extra photos just made the editing process take a little longer for each photo.

Don't worry about uploading your new ones. They will be fine. Once you enter your new ones you'll see new expiration dates on those. 30 day from your upload date. If you don't want to contact Disney PP about removing the older ones, you could just want until the older ones fall off-Aug. 3rd, but it won't affect your new ones at all, either way.

This seems to be a computer glitch that happens sometimes.

Oh, and the good news was when I contacted Disney and they removed the really old ones all my other photos expiration dates changed to a later date. They gave me 30 days from the date they removed the older ones. Don't know if this always happens but it let me add a few more trips to DLR on my order (we have DLR AP:goodvibes)

HTH. Let me know if you have any more questions.

You're welcome!

Thank you so much! I did email disney and the sent an email today stating that they deleted the photos from last year. Then I thought, oh no maybe I didn't want that afterall, but after reading your post, I'm glad as I do have them on CD. So, tonight I'm going to upload my new photopass numbers and hopefully enjoy looking at all the great photos! Then I can start my photobook! Last year took about 3-4 months to do the book, and then I waited another couple of months and did a book just on Epcot. Love making photo books. Lets one re live the holiday!

Thanks and please know it's reassuring to know that everything has happened to someone else too! Enjoy your holiday Karen
