Photo Pass how does it work ?

Can someone tell me exacly how the photo pass works ? Once you enter the parks what happens ?

I have signed up to be part of a group to share the cost of a CD, but someone just told me a few tidbits and now I am a bit ( OK alot ) confused.....

I was just about to post the same question. I understand about purchasing a cd, but not how the sharing part works.
