We had to call DCL to get it added to our cruise. It took them a few minutes, but they got it added. I'm not sure about the DVC discount though.

Are you looking at day 1? For some reason it shows as sold out on day 1 but look at any other day and you can book it. Regardless of what “day” it falls under, it’s for the whole length of the trip. I didn’t know there was a dvc discount. Is that true for paying the advanced discounted price as well? Or only onboard with onboard pricing?

I booked the photo package for Day 5 when we went to Alaska - no issues at all with getting all the pictures.
