Photo package question

So what I now understand is that most of the photographers are available Mainly for character meet and greets and posed shots. I am more interested in the casual/ random type pictures. for example do photographers just walk around the ship and just take pictures out of the blue ? Cool shot would be of us gazing out towards the sea from a deck. Do photographers walk on the beach taking pictures while your kids frolic in the water ? do they take pictures when you’re coming out of the waterslides ? By dining ? those the type pictures are the ones I want. 100s of shots of us standing, smiling, looking in the camera gets boring for me.

They are around the ship and Castaway Cay, but they aren't getting everyone by a long shot. You almost have to seek them out, I've found... maybe it's different if you have little kids, I don't know. They're taking the shots they think will make people buy a package. They don't know if you have a package or not. But if you don't want a bunch of posed photos (in all the same poses), it's probably not for you.

Agreed. Candids are nice and everyone loves them but at the end of the day they don't really sell a small package that costs $10-20 per picture. Maybe it will be #10 of 10 pictures but it's the posed photos that are the deal makers.
