photo in text

can anyone tell me ( in dummy terms) how do the names with pics inside them? I have psp, powerpoint and a program called print artist express. I have several i would like to make for gifts. Thanks!

This is the tut I found when starting w/ PhotoShop CS3- I adapted to work w/ the current commands of my program- This should help you out

I attempted to follow the directions on the link provided,, but when i get to the part where you are supposed to press the alt. key and put the cursor on the line between the two layers, the cursor does not morph like it says it should, in fact, it does nothing! Any ideas?
