Photo help please

I have tried to put a photo from my computer onto a post, but it won't work. How do I do this? Do I have to download my photos to a special file first linked to the DIS board?

Can someone please give me instructions on additing my photos to my posts....

Hi Vickie, and welcome to the DIS.

Yes, you have to upload to the Net and then link to the board here. Easiest way I have found is to set up a free account at www.photobucket.com. Read the 'how to' there, very easy. Once your photo is uploaded there, just go below the picture there and copy all of the img code line, all of it. Then come back here and paste in a post.

If you get stuck, best is to post on the main part of the tech board here, sometimes questions get missed on this test section of the board.

Looks great. If you want to make it smaller, Photobucket has a size edit by each picture. Also, since Photobucket sets up all the img code for you, including the

, you do not have to add them here. Pretty easy, eh??
