For Photo Connect - I see the online price for a 3-day card is $59.95. Does that mean it is $69.95 in the parks? From what I can tell - there is no discount on the 1-day card, is there? Just a flat $39.95? What about for the annual pass? Flat $89.95?

I have a 4 day ticket right now I plan to upgrade to a Power Pass when we go (ONE MORE WEEK!!!). I still haven't decided if Photo Connect is worth it for us. We love Disney's Photopass, but always do Photopass shares so it is more affordable. Doesn't look like there is much out there for Photo Connect shares.

I know we are returning for sure at least one more weekend in September (the Power Pass deal is just too good!). After that, it is up in the air whether we return for a 3rd trip in February. Guess it depends just how much we like the Dark Side :)

I did some more Google searching and eventually found the answer to my question on Touring Plans :)

If you pre-purchase your Photo Connect Star Card package online at presale.amazingpictures.com/photoconnect.aspx, it won’t begin expiring until you activate it upon visiting the parks; once activated, Star Card packages are valid for the purchased number of consecutive days. Online prices are $39.95 for a single day, $59.95, for 3 days, and $89.99 for a 14-day package. For an extra $40 you can add a personalized DVD from Shutterbuttons in Diagon Alley to the 3-day package. Annual passholders can get a full year of Star Card service for the 14-day price. If purchased inside the park, the 3-day Star Card and annual passholder packages cost an additional $10.

We bought the Photoconnect Annual Pass last October, when they were running a $49.95 pre-sale. That price was too good to pass up (since we planned to be at Universal in May and October 2015 and again April 2016).

We just returned from our May trip, and that Photoconnect card was an absolute steal. Over the course of the week, we acquired 79 photos on the card (sometimes they took multiple shots at a time). Some of them were super fun, too.....like those taken at ET's Toy Closet. We saw lots of photographers....at the park entrances, at a selection of character meets, at the dedicated photo stations like ET, Despicable Me, Spongebob, etc.....plus we got ride photos too.

Activating the card was super easy and quick. Apparently we also get a 5 x 7 print and a 4 x 6 print as part of the purchase price. They also supplied a Photoconnect lanyard and plastic pouch for the card.

It was just DH and I travelling together this trip, and I thought we'd end up with few pictures of us together as a result. Instead, we came home with a TON. Super happy with our purchase!

Now they're $89.95 pre-sale for the annual version - significantly more expensive. Do you think you would have been as happy if you had paid $89.95?

We know we will use it in May and in September. Not sure about a 3rd trip yet. I only have a few days left to decide :)

Yup, I would have paid $90 and been quite satisfied.

If you like, I can try and upload some of the pics later so you can see the different types of photos that we got on the card.

Thanks for the positive review - it helps! I am off to read your PTR (TR now?) as I already see some pics you have posted :)
