Following along on your PTR.
Your new sewing projects are adorable, you are so talented.
Doesn't it feel full-filling when you cross trip items off your list.
Countdown is on.....
Thanks for following along!
Thank you so (sew?) much! It's been so much fun to do and really helps pass the time for the trip.
I need to probably make an actual list so I don't forget anything!
Great job with the Cinderella dress and Prince Charming outfit!!

And congrats on being Paid in Full!!!

Isn't that such a great feeling! Because no matter what happens now... you have to go! It's paid for! Ha ha!
Thank you!
Yes!! That's what I told my parents--we have to go now!
Oh, the Cinderella dress turned out beautifully. I love it.
Glad you were able to snare a Star Wars character meal...that should be a lot of fun.
I don't blame you for not typing up your touring plans...too much work in my opinion.
And always a good feeling when you are paid in full.
Thank you.
One of my sisters wasn't going to bother with the meal, which was such a shock!! She is seriously such a big fan (the cost is a bit much, though), so I'm glad my other sister went ahead and got one so they can think more about it. They'll have TIW discount, so that should help.
Yay!!! I've been waiting to see how your Cinderella dress would turn out. I think it looks fantastic!! I hope that you were happy with the fabric and the shirred back. Your DD is going to look amazing in her dresses! Do you know how many times on our trip, my girls got asked "Did your Mommy make that?" Your DD can say "Yes!!"
Oh and the Prince Charming romper is too darn cute!!
45 days!!! That is so exciting!! And to have your package all paid in full... can't beat that feeling.
Thank you!! I'm so glad I saw Jorie's dress before I bought some other fabric for this dress! I love it so much and it's very wearable. The shirring isn't as tight as it needs to be so I'm debating ripping that out and trying again. Decisions decisions!

Edit/update: tried this on DD this evening and it fits perfectly except a little bagginess in the back near her waist. I think I can fix that with a length of elastic and it'll be even more perfect! Super sweet, but I couldn't get a decent picture.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to DD (and me) getting love for these outfits from CMs and characters.
Your Cinderella dress is exquisite!!! Beautiful details! I love working with Fairy Frost - it's beautiful fabric (however, Mr. R HATES appliqueing on/with it - sigh, so I don't use it often).
Even if you didn't like the tutorial - I do love how the romper turned out... It's perfect!
They are going to get so much attention! Great job on everything!!
Also - congrats on being paid in full - such a wonderful feeling!
D~
Thank you!! It has an interesting sheen/feel, so I wonder if that's why? I'm so glad that Rachel had her awesome TR so I could see this type of dress and fabric in action.
Since I'm still fairly new to sewing, some steps aren't as ingrained in me yet (like double turning a hem), and this tutorial didn't ever say to do that--just fold up and sew. So I'd start to do that then realize my edges would fray and start over. *sigh* but it was free and got the job done!
