I went to the Franklin Park Zoo here in Boston for the first time over the weekend (to practice for the Animal Kingdom on Tuesday!). Anway, the goal was to take shots with a borrowed telephoto lens. I got a few good ones. Also, I was working on shooting through a fence and getting the focus and aperture right so the fence is barely noticeable. Unfortunately, I forgot to check my ISO settings (I wish the Rebel XT always showed you this!) so a lot of the shots are at an ISO that I think is too high (800). But what I did learn was that it worked anyway

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/11
Focal Length: 220 mm
ISO Speed: 800

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 150 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/11
Focal Length: 80 mm
ISO Speed: 800

Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 205 mm
ISO Speed: 800
I would love any suggestions or critiques. I leave for the World on Tuesday so this was practice for the Animal Kingdom!
