I had sent an email to the Disney comments and complaints department explaining poor service that I received at a Disney restaurant. It's been two weeks and I have heard nothing back. Anyone know of a number I can call?

It normally takes more than two weeks for a response. It has to go from the Guest Communicaitons Department through channels to the office concerned.

However, the main switchboard, which can connect you to anywhere on WDW is 407-824-2222.

I had a really bad experience my trip before last and I e-mailed also and filled out the survey when it arrived and I never heard back either from either.

I agree it will take a while to hear back. If you feel strongly after waiting a bit longer that you need to have the issue addressed, you could snail mail and/ or resend the email.

I would snail mail, it seems that gets taken more seriously becuase the people too the time to write out the concern, rather than an email which can be done much quicker. It shows that the complaint is not just because you needed to blow off steam or anything, that you had time to sit down and write about it on paper. Not saying that is the real case, just a guess.

Snail mail doesn't get treated any more seriously ... It's all about your insistance. When I mail, snail or e, I copy everyone involved. That way a blow off response will be noted by others and generally causes a more serious response from someone.

I actually had written correspondance and a personal phone call and conversation with Al Weiss that started with an email complaint.

Someone I know wrote a letter a couple of months ago and never heard back. Im not sure if it was lost, or it would really take that long to respond. It had phone numbers and emails on there and everything for a response and still she never heard back.

How long did you have to wait to hear back?

1) Don't worry.
2) Your complaint is safely in queue.
3) They store them in File-13.

I've written on a few of occasions with praise as well as complaints and suggestions when I've felt strongly about something. Only once did an answer come quickly and that was probably 2-3 weeks. One time it was six months or so and I had completely forgot about it!

I always find that if I put "I would appreciate the courtesy of a reply by (x) date.." where (x) date is about 10 days in the future, I almost always hear by 10 days in the future. Regardless of who I am writing.

Thank you all for your feedback. I wanted to let you know that I did recieve a response from Disney (took about 3 weeks). It was a very nice email response and they have offered to refund us for our meal and even provided me with a cell phone number for the manager incase I had any further problems at this resturant. I'm very pleased with the response and my faith has been restored in Disney :)
