Hey all, just discovered this board after google searching if the disney college program has an age limit (it doesn't :) !!) I'm 25 and am currently attending Virginia Tech for Electrical Engineering. I've got my phone interview scheduled for tuesday night and was wondering if you guys could relay your expierences with it. What questions should I ask, what questions do they ask; that sort of thing.

Really nervous about it, so I'm doing a little prep work, I cant think of a cooler place to work than DL!

Thanks!

Hi I had my phone interview about 2 weeks ago and got accepted just after 4 days! I was freaking out right before my interview, I was so nervous :scared1:. I was scheduled for 3:30 pm, but I didn't get the call until about 3:40. Make sure you are ready 15 min before, and they can call up to 15 min after the scheduled time. Make sure you phone is charged, and that you are all settled in at a quiet location. My interview only lasted about 11 min, it just depends on who you talk to and how much time they have in their schedule. First my interviewer asked me why I wanted to do the program. Then she asked me my top 3 roles. My 3 were 1. Merchandise, 2. Attractions, and 3. Hosptiality. She asked me why I wanted these roles. Then she asked me my past work experience and volunteer experience. Finally she asked me questions relating to the roles I picked. "Have you had experience handling money?" "Have you ever had to read and memorize lines before, or had to do public speaking?" "How would you make a guests stay special?" She also asked if I prefer to stay busy or work at a steady pace. Lastly she asked how I felt about multi tasking. Make sure you are honest and sincere in the interview. If you really want a certain role explain why and emphasize it is your top choice. Also if they ask you if you would be willing to do a certain role for example if they ask you "Would you be willing to perform custodial?" don't say yes unless you really are willing to because they might place you there. Just politely decline, and state that you would be happier peforming another role. Most of all during the interview smile and be excited! They really can tell when you are  Goodluck! I hope this helped!

how did you answer the how would you make a guests stay special question? I'm applying for a second program for fall 2012 and hospitality is going to be one of my top choices. I was merchandise before. Haha.
