Phone help in deciding, Nokia E71 v. G1

I am in desperate need to get a new phone. I am trying to decide between the Nokia E71 and the TMobile G1, I have TMobile btw. Does anybody have either of these phones that can chime in on pros and cons. I really like the G1 but am very partial to Nokia cuz I know the layout and its usually a solid phone. I am mainly interested in checkin my mail and Im, text part of the phone as well as calendar. I like that the G1 functions all with google but I dont use google that much altho i do have account. Anybody get these recently??Also what are the speeds to web browse and what not? any opinions would be great cuz i have read the reviews online but id like some first hand comments.
