okay I know the dis is more informed than many phone CMs so I have a question.

I was going to purchase tickets for my family but save them for a 2019 trip. She said the tickets are only valid for 2 years??????

A lot can happen in three years. That seems a bit long to hold tickets. Disney could change their whole ticketing structure by then although doubtful.

Is there a place where this policy is posted. Everything I have seen has always indicates that they do not expire unless through something like park savers and even then it was 2018.

We are looking at purchasing them now to use as generators and to save money on a future trip.

All comments I have seen about regular Disney tickets have said either don't expire or something like 2032.

Just talked to another CM on the phone and she said they do not expire. I wish they would be consistent with their answers.

Even the Parksavers tickets don't expire. 2018 is just the latest voucher date but once the ticket confirmation number is linked to MDE, the tickets don't expire.

Even if the one-day tickets purchased through Disney have an expiration date, their value can be applied to a valid ticket.

Q.

I purchased theme park tickets years ago and never used them. Are they still valid?

A.

Walt Disney World Resort continues to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days.

However, be aware that unless you purchased the No Expiration Option, theme park tickets purchased after 2004 expire 14 days after their first use. While the No Expiration Option is no longer available, if you have previously purchased theme park tickets with the No Expiration Option, your tickets will still be honored.

If you have additional questions about your specific theme park tickets, please check with Guest Relations at the theme parks or call (407) 939-1289. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Unused multi-day tickets do not expire, but new this year, one day tickets expire on December 31, 2017. This changed once the tiered pricing went into effect. Exact quote from the Disney website:

**Price before tax (Ages 10+). Price varies by date and theme park. Must be used by December 31, 2017; price paid for unused ticket can be applied to a new ticket, subject to restrictions. Non-refundable.

One day tickets due expire December 2017. Two to ten do not expire if unused.
