Does anyone no if the virgin reps at mco carry phone cards because we don't really want to go to the welcome meeting. If the reps don't sell them do you guys now of anywhere that sells them?
Has anyone been to WDW recently and has got a phone card where did you get it from and was it good value for money? :eeyore:

You can pick phone cards up from Walmart, Target, and 7-11 stores, :scratchin come to think of it virtually anywhere in Orlando.

You can get them from the travel agents over here before you go, they are £10 and last us for the 2 weeks we are there.

I bought my phone card from the post office before I went, its called the travel card and worked out very well, of course I used it all up over there :chat: but I was able to get another one from the machines right by the phones in the Disney Hotel, We also bought one at the shop right by International Gateway in Epcot.

For the past few years I have used eKall. You can check your account online and top it up either online or by phone, very easy to use and a good price.

We tend to buy ours from the 'tacky discount shops' on the 192, guess I drive is the same.
Nice to know they are useful for something

They tend to be good value for money and you can buy $5/$10/$15 etc , just make sure they are suitable for International calls and check the expiry date as you may find it is suitable for your next holiday if you do not use it.

To be honest if you buy from Virgin you will be paying a fair bit more and you will not necessarily get more minutes. We have one left over from last years holiday and is a 'Florida Star' one, $5 it cost and you get enough calls to last the whole holiday.

I checked a few of the one's they had in Publix, like AT&T and they were $25 or so. :sad2:

The best value ones we've found have been from 7-11 stores. However, as has been said, phobe cards are widely available in all sorts of outlets.

If you don't plan to use it very much, it's probably worth just getting whatever is most convenient for you rather than hunting around for the best deal.

I find the cards from 7- 11 and walgreens are best! I have bought AT&T in the past and they have only lasted a few minutes-they were not good value at all!

We bought ours from the local Lynn Poly (Thomsons) travel agents before we went. We got 2 x £10 ones and after 2 weeks and about 10 calls home (including calls to mobiles), we still had money left on both of them :)
