Does anyone know where we can buy a phone card in the UK, that we can then use in Florida. We usually buy them from Virgin at AMC Theatre before the welcome meeting, but it would save alot of time (and getting up early!) if we could buy one before we go.

Most people seem to buy them from the supermarkets once they are out there.

You can also buy them from travel agents here - have you checked with your own travel agent or did you book it yourself?

I noticed that www.undercovertourist.com do a $10 phone card ($10.81 with tax) Unfortunately they have a minimim order of $107, so unless your going to make an aweful lot of phonecalls :) or order theme park tickets from them it's not a great option. They post free to the UK apparently.

Phonecards are a wonderful thing to have. They do help the cripplingly expensive cost of using the hotel phone or carrying change & using a public pay phone.

However, always be aware that most "too low to be true" rates come with 40-90 cent connection charges. The site mentioned above has a good phonecard but you may find cheaper cards in the supermarkets as mentioned earlier.

We always use our BT Chargecards in the USA.
They are simple to use, and all call charges are just added to your BT phone bill.
To be honest I have never really paid much attention to the cost of the calls and if there are cheaper ways of doing it, but it is so convenient.
You can register for them on the BT website - I think you have to be a BT user though
