Phone cards for counselors

We saw a suggestion to give the kid counselors phone cards as tips. Can anyone suggest how many per child are needed? Thanks

How kind of you to remember the counselors and want to do something special for them. This one is TOTALLY up to you and your budget. Some folks bring two or three per child and let the children give them to their favorite counselors. Some folks bring one for each counselor (about 11 or 12 per age group) Other folks bring WalMart gift cards since some of the counselors have cell phones.

I think it really depends on what you feel you want to do since the Counselors are salaried and tipping isn't expected.

If you're planning to give to favorite counselors, you might want to discuss which counselors are special with your children in your cabin while looking at the pictures on the Navigator. Then you can put whatever you want in an envelope with the counselor's name on it and give it to the counselor or the Manager of the club/Lab if your child's favorite counselor doesn't happen to be working when you're able to them off.
