Phone Card Question

My DD wants to get a phone card so she can phone her boyfirend 'everyday'

She will be phoning his mobile. Do phone cards allow you to call mobiles? If so does cost much more?

Anyone any experience of using phone cards to call mobiles in the UK?

if she has here own mobile she could take it and text cheaper than phoning but be aware costs a lot to phone from mobile to mobile both get charged £££

I used a phone card to phone my mum on her mobile when I was there in August, Im not sure how much more it cost though, but I do know that you can do it.

When you get there, buy a AT&T international calling card. $10 - if you can use a payphone, or hotel phone, the landline in our rented apartment also allowed us to dial the freephone access number, you can call home for 7.5cent per minute! It'll be more to a mobile. We bought a USA mobile at Walmart for $20, including 60 minutes of airtime, then used that to dial the freephone number. This then used up US minutes on the mobile, and charged us the 7.5cent from the dialling card. We had to do it as my mum got taken into hospital whilst we were away. Try to call a landline though, try not to call his mobile. Whatever a calling card, and a USA mobile will be much cheaper than your UK mobile. Vodafone charge £1.90 to a landline, so heaven knows what the cost would be to a mobile.

If your paying more than 3 cents per min to call a landline in the UK ten your paying too much.

Try www.Masterbell.com (that is the one I use to call my family in the UK $20 lasts me about a month calling about every other day). You pay for your calling card online then they give you an access # (toll free) and a pin you use it the same way you would a store bought calling card. Another company is www.onesuite.com same thing buy online and print the info. It costs something like 2.5 cents per min.

Calls to mobiles cost a LOT more.
