Phone booth in Epcot...

I just called and someone answered.

I asked if I could order fish & Chips and the girl said "no, this is Disney World." I said "I know, UK in Epcot right? Can you deliver fish & chips to Rhode Island?"

She asked if it was cold in Rhode Island and I said yes.

She said "That's too bad because it's really hot here.

I said "Now you're rubbing it in".

She said "See you later" and hung up!

That was fun!

I've called in the past and asked to speak with Mary Poppins, and if they can run over to Le Cellier and find out how long the wait is.

Ok now it's starting to freak me out...

I call the left and center numbers and all I got was a buzzing noise similar to a fax.

So I called the Right one back and I think it was the same girl that answered and all she said was "Oh, wrong number" and hung up.

Did anybody else try?

Just called and the guy said the weather was nice, and not to crowded. He then asked me how I got the number, and why I was calling. Once I told him, he thought it was pretty cool, and said he wanted the number, and he was going to call.

I just called and a guy name Andy picked up the phone. I ask him if he had seen Mary. He ask who I ask again if he had seen Mary any where. I told him this is Bert so if he see Mary tell her Bert say hi. I also ask him where he was he told me Epcot I said I must have a wrong number. He ask me where did I call I told him London. He said you got London in Epcot. I said bye he said bye to. All thought the talking he sounded nervous.

I called the right booth and got a fax machine. The left booth just disconnected me right away and the center booth was another fax. I assume they were fax machines, the phone rang a few times and then turned into a dial-up kind of sound. I was hoping to overhear some British Invasion

This is tooo cool! All I really need to know about Disney World, I learned from Disboards and Robo. Seriously!

I love the phone booth. DD and I are huge America's Next Top Model fans, and one season they did a photo shoot crammed in there. When she saw it last year, she had to grab her sister and me and cram in for a photo shoot. Lots of fun. This year, I'll have DH call when we do it and say he's Tyra's publicist, looking for models for PreTeen Top Models. IF he can disguise his voice, it will be hilarious!

This morning I tried to call and got the fax machine sound but it was probably before the park was open.

But I don't know why they said it was hot. I just looked on weather.com and it says 63.

Probably from England !!! However to be fair, its been quite a nice day here, the sun is out ! ( abit )

Last year when we were at EPCOT, we were standing by the phone booths and one of the phones rang. I answered it and talked to a man who said he was from Africa. I suspect he was at EPCOT at the time. It was fun. I wondered how he got the number. Now I know...Robo gave it to him!

I just talked to someone who answered the center phone booth. She said she is having a good day in Epcot. (Her home is in NJ) She complained that it is overcast and going to rain soon. I told her "a rainy day in WDW is better than any day in PA or NJ!" lol.....Pretty cool that someone answered.

Left and right booths didn't work for me but I got someone from California on the center booth just now (my husband thinks I'm NUTS for trying lol!)

She said it was around 67 degrees and wished me luck with the 2 feet of snow in NY we just got last week. I asked her to say hey to Mickey for me and she said she will give him a high five when she sees him.

Oh my trip can't come fast enough! 20 days left to go!

I just called the "Center Booth" and got a very nice Brazilian tourist.
(No, I'm not kidding.)

She asked if I spoke Portuguese (I don't) but, I did manage wish her a "happy vacation" and she understood that OK.

Nice to at least visit by phone!
