Hi, Planning for a trip this spring and also setting up new Droid phone. I have some restaurant reservations made, but want to know if anyone knows of an app for the phone to get to this information easy in case of cancelling or changing anything while away. Thanks

As far as I know there isn't a specific restaurant app.

I have mine on a memo pad app on my Droid. Some folks like Pageone Travel for holding trip info.

There is no app, but Disney World has a mobile website for dining reservations that works really well.

We used it to book two meals on our last trip, both on the day of, and it took less than a minute both times. It's fast and easy. I highly recommend looking it up and bookmarking it in your browser (creating an app button for it in your menu would be even better).

If you want to know without looking it up, the mobile site is: m.disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/m/

Ok got to the part about "bookmarking" the webpage, but how to i get an app for it on my menu??? :-)

I'm not really sure how to do it on a Droid, but I know you can make a bookmark into an app symbol and put it on your springboard with an iPhone. I'm only assuming that you can do it with a Droid OS, too.

You're probably going to have to Google that one to figure it out for your phone.

EDIT: Oh, I see you figured it out. Hope it works out for you!

The Disney moble site is pretty good, but I like the UT app better. Just type "Disney World Wait Time" when you search in the market. The UT app is free and the icon is a frog. Right now it has the menu's, prices and phone numbers for the restaurants (TS, CS and some snack areas) in parks where all you have to do is touch the phone number and click call, as well as things like wait times for the rides, maps, show times, EMH hours. The app is still adding features (there was an update this morning, actually).

I think the Undercover Tourist app is okay, but you have to pay for it to get all of the good stuff. With the parks' actual website, you can do everything that the person you call can do in a fraction of the time. You're not cutting out one, but two middlemen, the app and the host/hostess.

On top of that, hotlinking the Disney World online tool to an icon on your smartphone's springboard is free. Given all of this, I couldn't recommend using anything other than Disney's own tool for this purpose, at least until someone creates a better app with the exact same functionality, also for free.
