I have already paid/registered for Glass Slipper Challenge, but would like to consider fundraising and joining a charity team. The information listed includes race registration. Any ideas how I would go about this? Considering Autism Speaks, St. Jude, Give Kids the World, or Ronald McDonald House, but I am open to other charities. Thanks!

Contact the charities you think you would want to run for. They all have differing fundraising requirements. Usually, there is a contract/agreement that you will sign laying out fundraising benchmarks and timelines. Generally, if one falls short on fundraising they either have to make up the delta or punt on the race. Some will have a reduced fundraising requirement for those who furnish their own entry and/or travel expense. There are a couple who do not reduce the requirement and I find that really strange. Good luck, I have a deep appreciation for those who can manage life, training and fundraising all at the same time.

The few times I have run/cycled under a charity banner I have essentially budgeted the fundraising as a personal contribution, just in case.
