PHL to MCO AirTran Sept. rates $49 ea/way

I too was holding out for SW to have the best fares and I check between SW and AirTran out of PHL and JetBlue out of Newark. I go where the fares are the best since I always have a minumum seat purchase of at least 7 tickets. Well, Today I checked SW for Sept.22 & Oct.6 and I got the rate of $103 ea/way. Then I check AirTran and they have the seats for $49 ea/way. Yesterday Airtran was $89/$99 for those dates. I also checked my sister's dates of Sept.9 & Sept.18 and those were also $49 ea/way. Just thought I'd pass on the information. I hope this helps someone.

I saw this, too. I wonder if this means SWA will run another $49 one way special from PHL - MCO. I would book air tran right now, except my return date is 9/1 and there are no non-stop flights available for that day. I would have to come home 9/2 early am and add another night to get the $49 special. I don't want to do that because I already added an extra night to fly out early for a $49 special. If I keep adding extra nights for cheap airfare I will lose $.

ugggghhhh!!!!!! The other thing I noticed is neither SWA or Air tran has a flight that leaves MCO to PHL around 4 or 5pm (non stop, that is). I think this is strange. You have to leave between 12 - 2pm or wait until 8pm. I want the perfect non-stop flight that leaves at 5pm. It just isn't there.
