PHL Parking

We are flying out of Philly Tues. and I was wondering which is the better thing to do. Park at PHL economy lot or avistar?
Any Advice? Thanks!

We've used Pacifico Airport Valet the last few times that we've flown out of Philly. They drive you to the airport in your own car, so you don't have to unload your luggage from your car into a shuttle bus. They take you directly to your terminal and unload the bags for you.

When you return to Philly, you just call them and they pick you up in your car at baggage claim. All you have to do is drive the valet back to Pacifico before getting on your way home.

The cost is $8/day for the first 4 days, $7/day for the next 3 and then $5/day for each additional day after that. They have a 10% off coupon online. Valet charge is $5 and city tax is 15%. Tips are addtional as well. Here's their website:

I used airportparkingreservations.com and used Winner Valet. It was very easy to get to and I believe after the coupon it was $7 a day. I paid the extra 9.99 to have the driver bring the car to me at PHL upon return and for me to just leave from there.

We always use the economy lot at the airport. Hubby drops us off at curbside check in with our luggage and we all get our boarding passes. Then he takes the car to the econ lot while the kids and I walk around the airport. The shuttles run every 10-20 minutes except at really odd hours. We always take the 6:15 am flight (arriving at the airport at 4:45am) and it never takes longer than 30 minutes for my husband to drive down, park the car, and catch the shuttle back to the airport. Coming back, we pick up the bags, then the kids and I park ourselves out on the curb (always need fresh air after flight) and then hubby hops on the shuttle, gets the car, and drives around to pick us up.

You can take luggage on the shuttle, so if you don't have that much, or if your kids are older you can just go to the lot together. But we have 3 small kids which means lots of luggage, stroller, car seat for plane, etc., so hubby drops us off.

My husband doesn't like leaving the car with anyone, esp. with the keys. And he leaves his car at the airport all week, every week (we live in Bucks co and he works in California--don't ask) and he's never had any trouble.

I use Ampco (there is a $1 off per day coupon online). But I can vouch for Winner Valet as well; a good friend of mine's DH & DS own the company.

We always use the airport economy lot. I drop off the family at the curbside check-in, then I go park the car and take the shuttle back. On our return, family goes to baggage claim and I take the shuttle to get the car and come pick everyone up at the terminal.

I don't want anyone else driving my car. We used an offsite company once but I prefer the onsite lot.

We travel frequently and ALWAYS use Express Park.
They are 8.95 per day (but i always have a coupon for less)
You park your own car in the lot and they are right behind you in the van to take you to the airport. After you collect your bags on the return, you call them and they come right away.
They are the nicest, most pleasant group of people I have ever met. Everyone is always extremely friendly.
I would never use that terrible long-term parking lot at PHL.

To get to Express Park.
From North 95
Exit towards the airport and exit at CARGO CITY.
Take a left at the light.
Go through the traffic light and take a right at the stop sign.
They are about 1 mile down the road.
Very close and so very nice.
It truly is the begining of our trip to see those nice drivers at Express Park.
