I'm leaning towards a direct flight out of PHL early which means I drive to Philly the night before, park the car rent a room near/at PHL and get to the airport well before takeoff. Can anyone give me the daily parking rate on-site? I've investigated some nearby hotels and their parking policies and I need to compare. Also, anyone stay a night at the airport hotel recently? Any rate info would be appreciated.

Daily parking fee at the Economy lot is $8 as of 1/23.

My wife just got back from Puerto Rico and that was her daily fee.

I am not sure if you can find a hotel that would allow you to park for free for the duration of you Disney stay.

Might be worth exploring, if you ar egoing to pay to stay at PHL anyway.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn on their Park & Fly rate. It was $139.00 plus tax and you can park for 10 days. Our flight in October was a 7am flight so we got a shuttle at 5:20 and had no trouble at all. They are always so friendly do deal with there, and they have a continental breakfast, which we never took advantage of, but its there! :)

Have a super trip! :)

WE stayed at Sheraton 4 points...I think it was $119.00 that included up to 10 days of parking and the shuttle. I would never use the airport lot...it is scary. We use Sunpark Scott Way when not staying the night before..if you choose to do that buy the vouchers before hand it is much cheaper from their website. I find that to be the easiest lot...right off 95, closest to the airport. But if you are staying the night before hand check the Sheraton...it is a nice hotel and the Sheraton Suites is right behind the 4 points and I believe rates are similar...we always see a lot of pilots staying there...I figure that is a good sign.

When ever we fly out of PHL, we either park in the garage $16 per day, or park at Avistar, usually can get a coupon for them for $50 for a week. The Marriott at PHL doesn't offer park/fly rates, so you can stay there for the night, but you'd either have to move your car out of one of their spots to a regular spot in the garate, or have parked your car in the economy lot (definately advise against this) or use one of the off-site providers.

The others are right, the Marriott does not offer Park & Fly, so you cannot park your car at the hotel. However, it is extremely convenient for those early flights, so we have stayed there twice.

I've gotten AAA rates on both occasions (Friday night stays) for $89 (Feb. 2004), and $99 (September, 2004).

I've gotten those rates directly through the Marriott website.

We've parked in both economy parking at PHL ($8) and long-term garage ($16--I think--it's connected to Terminal B, I think, right next to the Marriott entrance). Both are fine and not frightening. The economy is more of a hassle because you have to wait for the shuttle and then wait for your stop in the lot. The garage is easy--just walk over and take the elevator to your floor, but you pay for the ease of it. When we take the kids with us when we travel, we do the garage. When we are alone, we go to economy lot. Good luck in your choice. Go E-A-G-L-E-S!!!! Del

We are leaving this Sunday morning and staying at the Embassy Suites the night before. I got a rate of $119.00 a night, and that includes free parking at the hotel and free shuttle to and from the airport. We have stayed here once before, and had no problems. The price is close to what we would pay for parking in economy at the airport.

Thanks for all the valuable info. $18 per day just isn't happening as this will be a 10 -11 day trip. My wife really hates connecting flights, I just want to get to WDW fast without wasting vacation time on travel. We've got 3000 Starwood points from Swan and Dolphin stays so the Four Points hotel with parking scores on two points, parking plus the room will be free or nearly so. I've looked at the Hampton and that's a possibility too. A 5:20 shuttle for a 7:00 flight is encouraging. The flights I'm looking at are 6:30 and when we fly from AVP we're up at 4 and still don't get to MCO until 11:30. This plan has us on the ground two hours earlier.

In December we stayed at the Holiday Inn near the airport for $99 park and fly rate. The hotel was clean and decent, they give you something to hang on your rear view mirror to park for 10 days, but I am sure they have no idea how long you have been there. People nice, shuttle very convenient.

Good luck, and have fun!
