Well, I generally meditate on the tradeability of some of these items before I buy mass extras.
Couple questions to ask yourself:
1. Is this something that I would trade for if I missed it the first time round?
2. Is it a long-term thing? An important staple to VMK Pins?

Now, let me examine some prior Weekend Pins:
1. Halloween Witch pin: In the words of Simon, "Forgettable." The pin didn't have much of a Disney Theme and it was a Holiday pin. Easily worthless.
2. Space Mountain pin: Sure, it was a Weekend Pin, but it could have been a Host Pin. It was beautiful and was a staple for any Pin Collection, as it was based off of a popular ride that can be found in just about any of the parks.
3. DLP
Disneyland Hotel: The Hotel pins are weird. For a lot of people, it is hit or miss. There are some pins that people don't get, then there are some that people buy in mass. Grand Californian is generally regarded as a popular Hotel pin, even for people who don't collect the Series. Especially if some of the hotels are ones that you haven't been to/plan to go to. Now, the DLP Disneyland Hotel is different: it was a gorgeous pin. I bought a couple since this may be a popular pin down the road.

Now, let's examine the new New Orleans Square Pin Series. For intense DLR fans, this series is a must. For VMK fans, it is a must because there is a whole new portion to the game based around NOS.
You can order some of the food on these pins from our resident Gator Waitor!
Couple that with tomorrow's pin: the Dubloon. A new special Pirate related pin? Buy it up like there is no tomorrow: pirates are popular in VMK. Take a look at the Pirate Ride series for evidence: people want them.

BTW, Dinner was great! And I am at 370.
EDIT: Now to 345
In the immortal words of Ned: "Woot! Woot!"
EDIT: 319? Yes...?
