I hope some of you good people can help this clueless 58 year old grandpop.
DW & I are taking our daughter, son-in-law, and 8 year old grand-daughter for 7 nights at the BWV the first week in October. Today our grand-daughter asked if "pop-pop" could take her to see Phineas & Ferb. Who are they and where can they be found? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You'll find them in Hollywood Studios, behind Muppetvision. The show times guide should have their meeting times for the day you visit.

You are a good Pop-pop for taking your family there. :worship:

I would like to recommend that you watch a few episodes of Phineas & Ferb before you go on your trip so that you may have an idea what Phineas & Ferb is all about. If you look at your guide on TV, you will see that Phineas & Ferb are on the Disney channels on a daily basis.

Phineas & Ferb are big time. These characters just recently started appearing in the parks after a few years of Disers begging and pleading for their appearance.

Watch the show a few times. People of all ages love the show. You will quickly learn some of their catch phrases that you can then share with your grandchild.

Unless the lines have gotten better since our May/June trip, you will want to head there asap. I believe they come out at 10:00am (double check when you arrive as the times may have changed)- We got there 20 minutes before and by the time they arrived the line was CRAZY long...like an hour wait to meet them.

We saw them in June and got in line about 10 minutes before they came out. We were third in line. The line didn't get crazy until after 10:30.

The nice thing is there is entertainment going on so it's not just a dull wait in line. The cast member pretends to be making a "movie" and pulls kids out of line to participate.

After you finish with Phineas and Ferb, you can go around the corner to Lightning and Mater from Cars. The line for them was sadly short compared to P&F, even with the new movie.

I third (or fourth?) getting there early. In late June, the line was insane mid morning.

Phineas and Ferb is a family favorite. My husband and I laugh so hard at things hidden in the script that the kids miss. It's a great show for adults! But also completely wholesome.

I have a question as well but I didn't want to start another thread since this one is already in existence...

How long are Phineas and Ferb going to be at DHS? It's a long-term thing, right? Not just summer? (I was worried that it was just summer, with the whole "there's 104 days of summer vacation...").

I want to see them in August when I go for a quick trip before my internship starts, but I want to know that if the lines are crazy long or if I don't have time that I can see them some other time during my employment down there... Thanks for any help!

I totally agree with everyone who says to watch a couple of cartoons before you go. My kids have my husband and I hooked on it now. And don't forget to take a picture with Ducky Momo while you're there!

:worship: I didn't know this! We're going to be there in two weeks! Ducky Momo rules!

Our whole family LOVES this show! I read somewhere once that the creators previously worked on Family Guy - if you're a fan of that you'll see some similarities with the pop culture references and and the deadpan comments. But it's completely sanitized and family appropriate, unlike FG. It's one of the few shows (kid or adult) that I could honestly leave on all day long (and now that it's on Netflix streaming, that has happened!)

Thanks for all the advice, really do appreciate it, I know it will make my grand-daughter very happy.

We were there last Friday morning. The wait was about 30 minutes. Easy! However, the lady behind me commented on what a bad influence P and F were. She hated the show. :confused3
