Philly airport/AirTran info request

We will be flying out of Philly for the first time in a few weeks, after using Allentown for a number of years. Currently, we will be spending the night before our flight at a nearby hotel and will be dropped off by the hotel shuttle. How is check-in at this airport? Is it curbside for AirTran? How early should we arrive for a 7:00 am flight on a Saturday morning? We should have our boarding passes when we arrive, assuming we can actually get them from AirTran's Website the day before, as they claim. Any info on AirTran would also be appreciated since we have never used this airline. Thanks!

I have flown AirTran from Philly several times and have always had an excellent experience. new planes, very nice flight crews. I always get to the airport at least 2 hours in advance since my family likes to try to get the business class upgrades and they are first come first serve ($35 each).

Yes you can get your seat assignments and boarding passes 24 hours in advance at their website. I dont remember about curb side check in - Sorry.

Out of philly we haven't had a problems recently arriving 1.5hrs early or less we have flown Air tran or Southwest...
