We had breakfast at the food court. Husband, daughter and I had the breakfast platter which consisted of eggs, bacon or sausage, some kind of potatoes, and a biscuit. Pretty good! Son wasn't hungry, he doesn't do breakfast very often! Couln't find the receipt for this meal but I think it was around $27.00.
We did Epcot Early Entry and went straight to Test Track. What a ride! One of our favorites! We were one of the first in line, and my husband ran over to get a fastpass. Got off the ride and immediately got in the fastpass line and went again. What a trip!
Universe of Energy - some parts were boring but the ride itself was pretty good. Never got a chance to see Living With the Land. The lines were always at least a 45 min. wait, and we decided not to get a fastpass. Circle of Life was a nice film but we almost fell asleep! Still very exhausted, I guess! Journey Into Your Imagination was pretty cool.
We had a PS for San Angel Inn at 11:00. Very interesting food, but good. My daughter and I shared the Nachos De Pollo and I had a bowl of Sopa Azteca (tortilla soup). My son and husband had the Plato Mexicana. With 2 sodas and 2 Tecates the cost was $58.62. Did the boat ride afterward. We liked this. We took a quick walk through the countries because it was now very hot and we were tired.
We left for the hotel for a break(turns out we slept everday for at least an hour.) Felt nice and refreshed and ready to go! We originally had planned to go to DD this evening, but the kids were bored and wanted to ride some REAL rides, so we headed to MGM instead.
We went straight to Rock-n-Roller Coaster and rode it twice in a row. Even though the park seemed very crowded, the line was very short. This was my husband and my son's very first time on a roller coaster and they loved it! We then did Tower of Terror. Wasn't sure if my husband or son woud do this one, my husband wouldn't, but my son did. Oh my gosh, this is a BLAST! After the first time, the guy came in and said something was wrong with the elevator, and we thought this was part of it. But it turns out there really was something wrong, it didn't do everything it was supposed to or something, so we got off that one and went immediately on another one! We then did the Great Movie Ride. It was nice. Muppet Vision 4-D, I have to say I was a little disappointed. It was not as good as I expected. The glasses were lousy. Everyone kept taking them off, looking at them to see what was wrong. Don't know what the problem was. Star Tours, another one I didn't expect to do, but did because my kids wanted to, was fun, but not as rough as Body Wars.
We decided to have dessert as Sci-Fi. Good sundaes! We had 3 Big Bangs (sundaes) and an Oreo Cheesecake and 4 drinks at a cost of 27.03.
We got seated for Fantasmic around 8:00. Take my advice, please! Even though we still had good view, if you want to sit anywhere near the middle, go sooner! It was packed! And it was very hot while waiting. Show was wonderful! Thought it was going to rain though!
Stay tuned for day 3!
Forgot to add, we went back to the room and had, guess what....2 large pizzas! At the cost of $31.43.
