Thanks for doing that Lily. I had SUCH a hard time when I first tried to learn how to post pics. I feel duty-bound to pay it forward for all the DISers who helped me learn how to do it. :goodvibes :thumbsup2: :grouphug:

Where's everyone today? We have 11 more pages to fill! :thumbsup2

Night two with the night brace is over. Still resting it at this point, but that isn't going to last too much longer with January right around the corner AND my weight slowly climbing back up. Sedentary life just isn't for me. :)

Lou~ I am definitely interested in getting in a LR at some point in the near future. Let me get back to you on that. I am sure it will not be a barn burner pace so if you are okay with that and running with a possible gimp, I'm your man. :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Sara~ Cute puppy! Good luck!

Cindy~ :wave2:

Chester~ Nice bike! Looks new to me.

Howard - Please, since I am not training for anything I will not be running too fast anytime soon. It's kind of nice now to run just to run. Keep in mind that I would have to get out very early to run an LR in December, otherwise I will be sleeping in the shed this Christmas Eve. The family is loving the fact that I am not "wasting" 3-4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday to run.

Here are some pictures of my babies, when they were babies (4 years ago).

Oscar at about 11 weeks.

This is Willow at about 11 weeks and less than 1 and a half pounds (that is a regular size fridge with the freezer on the bottom)

This one's for Howard - it's not my sandwiches that I keep in the bathroom, just my cats!

Back when they used to be nice to each other . . .

Cindy~ I get it, the kitties ate the sandwiches! ;) Very cute kitty cats. Thank you for sharing the photos.

Lou~ An early LR sounds good. My longest runs will be around 17 or 18.

Here's one of Matt and I after the RnR Marathon in San Diego. I really like the medals. Also, a reminder to Sara for next year - don't end up looking like me - use lots of sunscreen!

Cindy and Matt - I like those medals. It will be tempting for me to try to run the PDR and the VA Beach 1/2 in September to try to get the "special" medal. The best medal I have so far in the special medal they gave out at DL for running the WDW marathon and DL 1/2 in the same year.

Ouch, not good to be in the sun in San Diego for very long w/o sunscreen.

That's IT! I'm goin' to photobucket RIGHT NOW!
This could take a while...:badpc:

HERE'S MY PUPPY! JETTA-BEAN!
Bruce refers to her as the Land Manatee, but I love her!!

Love the pics guys:thumbsup2 . No time to play today since I've already volunteered for 5k race registration, drove an hour each way to Albany for DD's People to People meeting and now I have to get ready for my company holiday party that I'm dreading:confused3 It's an 8 hour open bar and an overnight stay in Saratoga Springs but I don't drink as a rule and don't see the need to hang out with people I work with unless I'm getting paid for it so :headache: I'd much prefer to just be putting on sweats and sitting infront of the fireplace for the evening:confused: .

Jodi - OMG, the Indiana bot pic rocks:banana: . I don't know how I wiped that from my memory so thanks for posting it;) Where on earth did you get the Disney wood carvings popcorn:: They're super cool!!

Cindy - Awesome RNR pic of you and Matt:yay: . Don't worry, I wear SPF 70 on my face at all marathons and 45 on exposed parts:confused3 . I'm kind of a skin freak:laughing: . That burn looks like it hurts:scared: . The cats are way too sweet:love: .

Chester - The bike does look like a sweet ride:woohoo: .

Howard - I'm a little worried about your PF:rolleyes1 . Please try to rest it as long as you can and then play it by ear:hug: .

I WILL be back to post a LR report tomorrowpopcorn:: . Lots going on tomorrow as well so not sure when it'll get done but it WILL get done:thumbsup2

Wow, Disney tikis?!?!?

Forget about the Disney credit cards, You all are truly DIS BOTS!!

Bruce is officially a BOT for allowing those in his house.

Cindy: The kitties are adorable! You also make a really good ad for sunscreen ;)

Jodi: I have to agree, the tikis are really cool and look even better when next to a really cute dog.

Dave: nice review of the DVC show on this week's DIS-- is there a schedule for where the show is touring?

I have this vision of Botman appearing in many more photos....

On an exercise front I did a measly 4 miles yesterday and am getting a bit annoyed that the gym is still not open for crosstraing. The only good part about the gym closure is the emails they keep sending us. The first one had a subject line of "crap" explaining how the mechanical engineers were close to getting the building open again. The next email was about 2 hours later with an apology for being "inappropriate and offensive"-- I laughed a lot at email #2, me be offended by the word "crap" :rotfl:
