Whew, got my 10 miles in today. It had to be on the treadmill b/c it is cold and REALLY windy here today. (I have become such a wimp.) Anyway, it is in the books, 10 miles in 2:06.![]()
.Didn't you already do 18? You seem to do really well at marathons (and 50Ks) without doing a 20. Maybe do the half on Saturday and then do something like 16-18 next weekend? You'll probably be fine.
Alternate advice - Suck it up and run the 20![]()
I know, I'm such a dork! No, they won't be playing tonight. I was in Trenton, NJ about 2 hours ago and it is @#%*n snowing!Lou - Sorry Earl didn't cooperate for the game last night. Wish the Phillies could have wrapped it up...think they'll get the game in tonight?
What a depressing day after such a great weekend. Not even sure if they will play this game tomorrow. Looks like Thursday. Everything, including running, is on hold right now. Bad nightmares of the 1988 Fog Bowl are going through my head.
Congratulations Howard. The wonders of training indeed. I remember when you squeezed your Goofy training into a 3-4 week period. Speaking of which, where's your Goofy PR?I see that several of you have PR's in your signature. I wanted to share mine with you. My last three or four races have yielded PR's.

.The race was a lot of fun and worth every hobble down the steps.

to everyone else!Hey, I'm just following the schedule. I got up at 5.
Cindy - OK, the word maniacal comes to mind immediately & I'm starting to think that I should be a bit afraid of you!10 miles this a.m.??? Honestly, it's quite disturbing
.

Colleen - Congrats on getting the 10 done! Are you doing a walk/run or just walk? Your pace seems pretty fast.I hope the yoga stretches your hip out.
I couldn't keep it up for 26 miles.
