Thank you Michele~

I really like the orchids, have yet to be brave enough to try to grow them tho...I have one that DH says looks like the shrimp in the fishtank with Nemo~

Great photos! :thumbsup2 Love the jazz theme! I'm dying to get out and take some flower shots, but the spring flower show doesn't open here in Pittsburgh for a couple of weeks yet.

I will be at the Boston flower show this weekend. My DW is a member of Mass hort and that gets us in 3 hours before the big crowds! That should allow me plenty of time and space to take some nice shots. We'll see how that works.

Nice pics! I wonder if it is the same show that comes up here? I doubt that they would have time to set it up if it is though.

Very nice photos Tigger. I was there Monday. I volunteer at one of the booths every year so I got in early & ran around getting lots of photos before the throngs arrived. The first place I head to are the little dioramas toward the back. They always get so crowded after the show opens. This way I was able to take my time & get lots of photos there. I'll try to post some more on the other thread.

can i ask what is the % of flowers to vendors? hub and i talk about going probably every yr since cleveland's basically turned into 500 vendors selling "magic Mops" with a tiny section, maybe 1/5 or less dedicated to flowers( and a food court) we can go through in probably 30mins( for 11 or 16 or what ever it costs now to get in) Cleveland's used to be held in a cool old building now it's in the ix center, which is basically a gymnasium atmosphere( or lack of atmosphere)

Thank you :flower3:

I have a PA Happenings guide, it doesn't specify a theme for Pittsburgh but I am sure it will be gorgeous~

I would kill for 3 hours of crowdless time at the show~

Thank you :flower3:

This show ends on Sunday so I doubt if it's the same show...have a great time!

again...I'd kill to get in there without those dern crowds, care to share who you work an exhibit with?

We did the show later in the day and headed for the dioramas around 4pm. The crowd was light enough for us to see but there were still too many people to see everything.

Amazing colors and great shots!

Thank you :flower3:

Philly is about 50/50...

and costs a bit more :(

DH paid $48 for the two of us so we made a point to spend a huge chunk of our day there.

Neat! I am going on Sunday. I will wait til I get back to check out your pics (I want to be surprised :teeth: )

More nice photos. Thanks for sharing. I thought I saw just about everything but there are a few things from your photos that I don't remember. There's so much to see there & sometimes if one place is super crowded, I'll walk away, hoping to come back later.

I agree...

DH and I spent a good five hours there and I know we still missed stuff~

I like what you took Phialdisney!

I am amazed to think that after spending seven hours there that there was so much I didn't see...

Thank you very much for sharing~
