I do have to say this support for the Eagles is unlike anything I have seen in a very long time...


The 76'ers in the finals pales to this... dare I even say the Phillies in the world series back in the day, pales to this...


I would say this "frenzy" about town, is very close to when the Flyers won the Stanley Cup... when was that? 1974? I was young!

I agree, I ditched school to go to the Flyers parade, mom knew about it! I have been an Eagles fan for a long time, I always attract the best comments when I wear my jersey. So far the best comment I've enjoyed was in Disneyland. I had my jersey on the day after the Eagles beat the 49r's in San Francisco. A man in the park gave me a good natured "boooooooooo" and then told me my guy didn't beat them anyway (My jersey is number 5, Donovan McNabb).

I ditched to school to go the Flyers parade along with many of my friends. All our parents knew. I never saw anything so crazy. Did you see streakers? We had streakers running over the tops of cars. Probably my first naked guy siting.

Us Eagles fans are worked up into a frenzy. I pity the fan who shows up in a Bucs shirt or jacket!

Of course, we're going to win. Our only hope is that the Raiders also win so that we can have a rematch in the Super Bowl and beat them this time.

Well,since my team's not in the play-offs I'm rooting for the Eagles(my BIL's team)and praying for the Titans to beat the Raider!

There's a lot of excitement down here in Tampa as well!

DD's private school is ditching the required uniforms tomorrow for "Bucs' Day". She's all fired up to wear her Alstott jersey!

A lot of businesses are allowing their employees to wear Bucs stuff too.

I think we're peaking at just the right time. We trounced the 49ers, and I thought the Eagles played just so-so against the Falcons. Of course, a win is still a win.

This town was BANANAS during the LCS AND the World Series in 1980.

DH is a lifelong Oakland Raiders fan (although he was born and raised in Philly). DS lives and dies with the Eagles. So I DREAD an Eagles/Oakland rematch.

I don't know anything about football, (I got to the movies on Superbowl Sunday), but I'd like to see TB win, because they are a Florida team and ya know how much we all love Florida here.

Hmmm, lets see, who would the Raiders rather beat in the Super Bowl????

The Eagles so we can remind them of the last time, or the Bucs so we can beat our ex-coach? Both are so appealing!



If it came down to which team I like better, I'd probably say Bucs. But if its a prediction, I have to go with the Eagles, until the Bucs prove they can beat them on the road and in the cold.
