has anyone taken a phil and teds over with them? we currently have a maclaren but our dd 3 is tall and we think she will need something more substantial to sleep in when we are about in the evenings (we also have two teenagers) i am thinking of buying a cheap old one of e bay or similar but am worried is it going to be bulky on the buses and how easy to manouvre around the shops? any advice welcome, also if anyone has an old phil and teds that is on its last legs and they no longer need i would be very grateful! thanks catrin

We have just got back and we bought a Baby Jogger City Mini for our DD who is nearly 3 but very tall. She is 1m without shoes and with thick soled trainers was able to ride Big Thunder Mountain!

She was really comfortable in it and slept in it a lot. Its light and folds so easily we loved it

I don't know how it compares to the Phil & Teds but might be worth looking on Ebay for one.

My advise would be if you dont need it at the airport then wait until you get there as Walmart, Kmart etc have a good selection at usually reasonable prices. :thumbsup2

i've never had one, but they always seem very large to me...
but maybe they have smaller ones than what i've seen..

but the ones i'm familiar with seem awfully large to travel with...

aren't some of the airlines now putting restrictions on large size buggies?

I would second getting the city jogger mini! It's a great buggy with loads of room, massive hood and good recline! Folds in seconds too

thanks for the info, will look into the whole size restriction thing. does anyone know if all walmart stores stock strollers? are any stores better than others?

What about ordering online and having delivered to your resort?

We did this with our City mini from Albee Baby - they were really helpful before ordering when I had questions. Ordered it as advised and it arrived before we did :thumbsup2 They have loads of strollers on their website.
