Phil and Ted Stroller?

Hi there! We are headed to Disney on Oct 1 for our first visit with our 2 kiddos, DD3 and DS5 mth! We are taking our Phil & Ted stroller and was just wondering if any of you out there took one before? It's still a relatively large stroller when it's folded so I wondered if this was going to be a problem when we got on the shuttle? Also, did any of you have problems with not enough storage? I am seriously thinking of buying the Pannier Bags to take with us to store additional items. The basket below is not very big so I'm sure my diaper bag will be down there but with bottles, diapers, wipes, snacks, etc...I know it will fill up very quickly!
Also, since my little guy will be in the back, and my DD in the front, I'm worried about it tipping when she constantly gets in and out of it? But I also don't want to have to keep taking him out and moving him in the front every time she gets out?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I have a P&T also and posted a similar question a couple of weeks ago. A few people replied that they took theirs and it worked fine. (I tried to post the link but it won't let me - you can search for it by my username). As far as tipping, could you put your little one in the front in his car seat (with the car seat adapter) and then your daughter in the back? That's what we did when ours were that age and it worked really well.

As long as dd is still under the weight limit, I'd put her in the back. That way no switching is required. Otherwise, as long as you have a hand on it and it isn't overloaded in the back with a diaper bag hanging on the handles, it should be fine with the hopping. I've just always put the hopper in back to take care of the issue. ;)

That said...are you flying? If you are, I'd reconsider taking it on the airplane. Ours was seriously damaged both times we have flown with it. :headache: The second time it wouldn't even roll once we got it back. Thankfully, dh is handy. :wizard: We are taking a cheapie this time around so the airlines can't get ahold of my precious stroller. :)

We aren't taking the car seat with us, we have the Chicco and the adapter is not yet out for the P&T, plus my DS is much more comfy in just the stroller than the carseat.

Thanks for the tips on flying, we are, but I think since we'll use it in the airport that we'll check it planeside...I'm hoping that helps with not damaging it!

We've always gate-checked as well. I've never tried a stroller bag, though. Perhaps that would help?

Good luck! Hopefully your stroller will make it unscathed. :goodvibes
