Last year I purchased No riders online. They are small oval patches that you put inside the inseam of your shorts. They keep your shorts from riding up between your thighs. They are soft and comfortable. You can buy patches you iron on or ones that you sew in. I got new shorts last month and my new no riders just came in.
If you are portly petite and your shorts ride up, these are wonderful.

I'll be giving these a try. From one "portly petite" gal to another, thanks so much!

I would love to try them. Where do I get them?

Tandyc

As I like to say "I think the crocodile is eating my shorts again!!" :lmao:

I would like to know how to order the patches! :thumbsup2

Those look really neat. Have you tried the "stays"? Are they stiff?

Wow, awesome invention!! :cool1: I wish I would have thought of it!!! Thanks for the link! :thumbsup2 Which ones do you prefer?

Thank you so much I love you! :yay: :dance3:  :hippie: :flower3: :cheer2:

I don't sew, so I have only tried the iron on patches. they are stiff when you are holding them on your own, but once ironed inside your seam you don't feel them at all. I have never tried "stays" not sure what that is.
One day I was looking online for something that might help with my shorts and ran across the website. I thought they were cheap so I would at least try them. I am so happy. I can walk straight without having to do the leg lift and shake every few steps. I would not wear shorts without them.
:yay:

Thank you. I usually use body glide but I bought 2 pairs of jean shorts that still ride up. they were so uncomfortable. I ordered 3 pairs can't wait to get them. Finally I won't be the one in Disney constantly pulling the legs of my shorts down.

I'd love to hear if these work....I'm tired of walking around like I'm bowlegged when I wear shorts to avoid "the crawl".

Please...Somebody let me know how they workout....

I love this idea! I think I will be ordering some. :thumbsup2

Wow, what a great idea. Not sure which ones to buy though.

I haven't tried them but the stays look just like the stays that are in mens dress shirts, only larger. I would imagine they would be stiff, and I can't see how that would be comfortable against your leg :confused3 The fabric ones don't look too bad, I think I need to get some for DH, LOL. I don't like shorts on me so I stick to skirts, no worries there, but DH has this one pair of shorts that always bunch up

Great idea
Thanks to the OP who found this.
I'm a sewer (one that sews.. I don't live underground) and it makes perfect sense
