Ok...so maybe I am not so bright here, but we are trying to figure out what to do with the PH tickets. Were going to be there 9 days, but only doing 4-5 in disney. We thought about getting the Parh Hopper Plus Tickets (we think 5 day right now) We want to do one day in each park, and then use the last day to go back to things we might have missed (due to crowds or lack of time). We wanted to do a water park too, weather depending (80 degrees seems a bit cold for a day in a water park to me).

So heres the dumb question....should we go for the 5 day PHP tickets or do the plus options expire at the end of the 5 days. (So basically can we do 6 days at WDW if we do TL, BB or PI on the 6th day?) Does this make any sense??? From what i have read they dont expire...but not 100%sure.

Would like to know soon, so I can go t to the Disney store in the next few days to get the tickets...but just read about ticketmania.com. going to look into that as well (see where the better deal is)

Thanks!

I believe the 5 day park hoppers passes include 2 plus options...therefore you will 5 days to hop in the main parks and you can use one of the plus days for the water park day...the unused 2nd plus option will not expire and you will be able to use it on a future trip.
p.s. there are no stupid questions here on the DIS..

A five day Park Hopper Plus has 2 plus options. The five day Park Hopper has no plus options. Make sure you get the PLUS. They never expire so you can use your plus option to go to BB or TL after you use all five park days. You can even use the plus options years later.

Enjoy your vacation.

Just make sure you understand the numbers - the differential between the 5 day PH and PHP is $32 for an adult ticket and $26 for a child ticket. This is fairly close to the cost for stand-alone tickets for one day at TL or BB. So, this means that by purchasing the PHP, you are essentially getting a "Plus" for free. As stated above, these pluses never expire, so this is really a no-brainer for you if this is your only choice.

Of course, this isn't your only option. The more days you purchase up front, the more money you will save in the long run. You asked the question about expiration, so this seems to indicate that you are planning on returning to WDW after this trip...the big question is when? If you're already talking about carrying around unused tickets that have only one "Plus" on them, why not consider carrying around these same tickets with more unused days? If you have the extra money and are intending to go back to WDW soon, consider buying the 7-day PHP passes (which include 4 pluses) or, if you are going to be back at WDW in less than 12-months, consider purchasing the annual pass. Go to allearsnet.com and check out their Tickets FAQ - it will be well worth your while.
