PG = Personal Goal NOT pregnant! whew! that gave me a real scare!

Anyhow, I just wanted to share with my WISH family of supporters that I reached a personal goal this week! I have been jogging three times a week faithfully since May (I think) and this week I jogged a total of 9 miles

woo hoo! this is an accomplishment. Actually if my measurements are 100% accurate, I jogged 9.1 miles, but hey, I'm not that particular ;)

Back in May I was jogging probably 6 or so miles a week and I remember thinking that 9 a week would be alot! Why 9, who knows, but that number has stuck in my mind since. Also noteworthy is that 2 years ago I took up jogging again and trained for a 5 mile Turkey Trot. In which I accomplished, but by the race date I had developed tendonitis in my right foot. Long story but after 3 months of being misdiagnosed with a stress fracture and wearing a fracture walker all that time my ortho doc looked at me and said "Running is not a sport for you."

So that is when I bought a bike and put the thought of jogging as a way of working out behind me. Thanks to good shoes, orthotic inserts, adding distance slowly, and with all the encouragement from my WISH friends, I have proven him wrong!

Okay...good job on the 9 miles...it just proves my theroy if you want something bad enough...almost any obstacle can be overcome!!

WOW, Molli! That is excellent!!! Isn't it funny how something that seemed impossible (or near to impossible) is now something that you can accomplish with ease? Think back to when you first started losing weight - it just seemed like it would take forever to get into the 140s and now you are in the 130s and running 9 miles (9.1 ;)) a week! That is fabulous! I think you need to treat yourself to some new running shoes and some running clothes!!

I bet your legs look fantastic! Karyn (Kabuli) already told me how great you were looking when she met you at Kamys, but I can't wait to see for myself in Dec! If you keep this up you will be a rippling mass of muscle!!! ;)
 
okay okay you didn't even give me a hint that you were "maybe" pg but I know that sometimes Moms can be the last to know! And Kath is probaly thinking oh shoot "I was hoping - another kid to try to steal".

Good going on that personal goal and yep I am thinking Turkey Trot again this year - looks like I lost my walking partner - but hooray for you!
 

WOW Molli that is awesome. Way to go. Keep it up and let us know when it increases again. Excited to hear more about you later.

Awesome job sticking to your exercise routine & meeting your personal goal!! WOO HOO!!!!

I, too am envious. I have never been a very good jogger. I usually end up panting & holding on the my side because of cramps.

Set your next goal & go for it!!!
 
I think you'll find upping those miles by 1/3 will help tone that PG body and help you lose weight steadily. Keep up the GREAT job!!! 9.1 miles is a GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT!!

Heee, heeee, heee. See the man in me missed the whole darn thing. I had to go see what PG was not even coming close to any of the thoughts posted......"us guys were just wired incorrectly" at least that's what all the experts say :p :p :p
 
Molli--wow, that was quite an attention getter! I was thinking the other way, of course!

WTG on the 9 miles! Wow, that is some workout! And you look great, BTW!
